Hi, I’m Kathy, owner/Director of Talent

Kathy Campbell is a seasoned force in the entertainment industry, with decades of experience shaping talent and bringing stories to life. Based in Louisville, she first made her mark as a successful talent agent, leading one of the region’s top agencies before selling the company to launch her own venture in casting. Today, as the owner of Campbell Talent Group, Kathy oversees casting, talent development, industry workshops, and audio production—establishing herself as a trusted name for filmmakers and actors alike.

Through Campbell Talent Casting, she has contributed to more than 17 projects in the past year alone, including films that premiered at Cannes, Venice, and TIFF. Her recent achievements include casting Gus Van Sant’s Dead Man’s Wire, boasting a powerhouse ensemble featuring Bill Skarsgård, Dacre Montgomery, Al Pacino, Coleman Domingo, Cary Elwes, My’ha’la, and others. In 2024, her projects DMW and Carolina Caroline screened at TIFF, The Revisionistpremiered at Cannes, and DMW was also showcased at Venice.

Her extensive filmography includes JL Ranch (Jon Voight, Melanie Griffith, James Caan), Ultimate Legacy (Brian Dennehy, Raquel Welch, Doug Jones), The Art of Self-Defense (Jesse Eisenberg), An Uncommon Grace (Kelly McGillis), The Clovehitch Killer (Dylan McDermott), Runaway Romance (Tatum O’Neal), and Don’t Tell a Soul (Rainn Wilson, Jack Dylan Grazer, Mena Suvari). On television, she has cast projects such as Smoketown and Acts of God.
